Chinese Chicks

…..Last evening the 8 year old son of our friends showed me his chicks he bought in a park. They were cute, noisy and he wanted to see them grow into chickens. Unfortunately today they passed away.

They are so cute. He must be devastated.
Oh dear - how sad. They were probably incubating a disease or were simply too weak and young to withstand the change in environment.
They often struggle outside of a group. Maybe they got cold?
It’s a hard lesson to learn as a kid.
