Laundry on Xinzha Lu

Nothing more makes me feeling back at home when I see laundry in the streets. The holiday is over and Shanghai Daily Photos resumes.

    in B&H it’s forbidden to dry your cloths out of the apartments, we have to do it in balconies so it’s not visible. of course some people don’t obey.

    I just love the laudry scene in Shanghai. Just imagine how much electricity the city will consume if every household machine dries their laudry. Sunlight is free, healthier, and greener. I hope people in Shanghai will keep this good tradition and be proud of that.
